The Impossible Blue

Sometimes a journey begins years before the ticket.

Mine began with a photograph. Someone I had never met shared an image of a glacier.
The blue looked impossible. I could not stop thinking about it.
Eventually I stopped trying.

I bought a ticket instead.

Over the rainbow

I came for the waterfalls. Left soaked.
Somehow, wandering through puddles in flip-flops became just as memorable as the falls themeselves.

The River
Impossible turquoise river in the mountain valley
The Impossible River · So turquoise I genuinely wondered whether it was water at all

Some colours make you question reality.
